Pink Retrograde

May peace and love be upon you all for it has been four months since my last blog post. So much has happened in the past four months and it really got my energy at an all-time low. I make an effort to get up, slay and not fold to the pressure but deep down, the meter is expiring and I find myself rushing home not to get away, but to be in solitude and not create for a while. With Pluto retrograde currently affecting our subconscious and forcing us to dive below the surface and deal with some our darkest material, it allows us to reflect on past mistakes and address situations and moments that we acted out of character. I can’t lie ya’ll, been taking a few L’s these past three months and the old me would throw a fit and be all up in my feelings like that Drake song and point the finger at others. And ya’ll, it got me absolutely nowhere. In terms of my current age and the woman that I am becoming, why would I turn back and repeat those same mistakes? With each L that came my way this year, I found myself fighting the urge to not go back to who I was. The solution was to move forward and learn a valuable lesson in order to gain twice the amount of strength. If something wasn’t meant to be, it’s not to be. If a person wasn’t meant for you, then they weren’t meant for you, so why force it? When the true colors reveal themselves, drop your paintbrush and walk away. Speaking of colors, she’s wearing pink believe it or not! From the tee down to the vintage 90’s print on a crisp pair of Nike Air Max 2’s. Oh and what a coincidence, it’s Wednesday! On Wednesday’s we wear… okay ya’ll get it! Hope you enjoyed today’s post ❤
