Photo Diary: Los Angeles

“To live and die in LA, it’s the place to be,

You’ve got to be there to know it,

When everybody wanna see it”

Made the spontaneous decision to go to Los Angeles, where Pac did the music video for “To live and Die in LA.” Where Ice Cube reminisced about his good day without having to use his A.K and where Dr.Dre hit the 3 wheel motion in his 64 Impala to go pick up Snoop Doggy Dogg in 92. My girl Libby and I made the spontaneous decision to book a 4 day trip out West to hit up Complexcon, a streetwear/sneaker convention for the culture. Before the convention, we hit up the streets of LA in our freshest kicks and checked out a few streetwear shops with blogger/stylist Fenna of the blog BlondeCaviar, walked Fairfax, La Brea and Melrose, Venice Beach, ate mad grub,  and spent mad money on Uber rides.  We hit up streetwear shop DOM Gallery on Fairfax and For All To Envy on La Brea and Undefeated. Although it was 4 days, we both needed this trip for the stress back in the city was real. Did I mention the snowfall we got in Edmonton two days prior to our trip? So you know we had to dip for a bit. Enjoy the visual recap and you best believe I’m gonna drop a separate post showcasing what went down at Complexcon. So just chill, until the next episode.
