Black Magic

Black is undoubtedly the easiest shade to wear out of the entire palette and no disrespect to Anna Wintour for she has made it publically known that she hates it when people wear all black. Got mad love for the woman but ya’ll crazy if you think for one second I am going to dress according to what she thinks is trendy. Heck, wear what you like! I’ve been doing so for the past twenty-something years. Anyways, before the snow hit the streets of Edmonton, I wanted to be able to walk out of the house with no coat just one last time and did so with my favourite dress by LA brand Lucca Couture. You might of seen this baby when I teamed up with local boutique Lucid Lifestyle (RIP) this past spring.  I stuck to my tomboy roots by unbuttoning the dress and pairing it with a pair of black leather pants, black symmetrical tee and of course, a classic pair of suede Nike AF1’s with the gum sole. To add a pop of color, I reached for the “Mini Affair” shoulder bag by Rebecca Minkoff. as I type this out, I just realized that Black Friday is well, pretty much today and  it’s got ya girl thinking about what to cop on this special day. What are your plans for Black Friday, let me know in the comment box below!

Don’t forget to smile today! =)
