Don’t get me wrong, as much as I enjoy watching models strut run down the runway in the finest luxury garments, I do believe the real runway resides on the everyday busy streets in the biggest fashion capitals of the world: New York, Paris, Milan and London. Like a Kardashian, I have been keeping up with New York Fashion Week but lately I’ve been rewinding back to the street fashion scene in London scoping out upcoming trends to stay ahead in the game. With London Fashion Week happening as we speak, my anticipation to see what the London streets have to offer is at an all-time high! What I’ve come across is that Londoners apply a more “steezy” meets “slouchy” approach to their everyday wear while maintaining a street wear aesthetic whether its through a Thrasher flame logo tee, a Comme Des Garçons parka, or a crisp pair of retro Jordan’s under ripped black denim. The Clash was right after all, London is calling!

Catwalk fashion is so impractical in real life situations, that I agree the real runway is on the streets!
